My own personal twist on a somewhat contreversial fly pattern. Worms are a natural part of the diet of trout, so why not use that to your advantage? Try this guy during periods of stained water, or shortly after rain. This variation uses a tungsten bead, and heavy wire to help it sink into the zone faster, as well as greatly increase its durability. This fly earned the "first cast" part of it's name when I was first trying it out. The very first drift I ever made with this fly produced a 17" Rainbow.
